Events
What is pavoot.events?
A place to find professional events, and to back ideas for new ones. Some events are run by Pavoot, others by hosts on our platform or on other sites. How it works
How do I register?
Open the event and tap Attend. Sign in with your email, answer the host's questions, done. Your confirmation comes by email.
Why am I waitlisted or pending?
The host reviews guests or the event is full. You get an email as soon as the host decides or a seat opens.
How do I pay for a ticket?
Paid events open a Stripe checkout after you register. Your receipt comes from Stripe.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are up to the host. Contact them through the event page or your confirmation email. If you cannot reach them, write to us.
I can't make it anymore.
Tell the host, so your seat can go to someone else. Their contact is on the event page or in your confirmation email.
Why does an event open another site?
Some events run on Luma, Partiful or similar. We show the details here, and you sign up on their site.
The event was changed or cancelled.
Hosts run their own events. If something changed, the host tells you by email. For questions, ask the host.
Ideas
What is an idea?
An event that happens once enough people want it. Say you're in and we tell you when it gets a date.
Does “I'm in” mean I have a seat?
Not yet. Once the idea has a date, people who said they're in get to register first.
Can I suggest an event?
Yes. Ask for a room and tell us what you have in mind.
How do I take back my interest?
Open the idea and tap the button again, or go to My rooms.
Host, sponsor, speak, shoot
How do I offer to host, sponsor, speak or photograph?
Pick your role at the top of the site, then open an idea and make your offer. We get back to you before anything is set.
Is a sponsor amount or price binding?
No. It tells us what you have in mind. Nothing is owed until both sides agree in writing.
I run events. Can I list mine here?
Events run on the Pavoot platform can be listed. Write to us and we take a look.
Account
How do I sign in?
With your email. We send a 6 digit code, no password needed.
I didn't get the code.
Check spam and promotions, and that the address is right. Codes expire after a few minutes, so ask for a new one.
How do I change what you email me?
In My rooms, under Profile and Searches. Every alert also has the link.
Who sees my profile?
The hosts of events you join. Other guests see counts, not names. Details
What is “Find me in event photos”?
We match your profile photo to photos from events you attend, so you get yours. Turn it off any time in your profile. Details
How do I delete my account?
Email hello@pavoot.com from your account address. We delete it within 30 days.
